GW Freaks is a comprehensive tool that incorporates many features taht you should find useful. The GW Freaks character builder is a clean, professional tool to help anyone who takes their character creation seriously.
Account management
The tool can keep track of your locked/unlocked skill list on all of your characters as you progress through the game (Currently 4 spaces but we all hope to get more in next chapter).

TThe windows can also be used to changed quickly from one template to another. You can also change the "mode" that the application is running and to 'team mode'. The lock/unlock feature is not available in this mode, but you can build skill lists for 8 players simultaneously.
Character attributes

Set up your character, name, primary/secondary class, your level, select your attributes, and a race? [humm we believe that soon other race will be playable... Smile]

Current version only supports runes but we plan to implement full equipment support probably near the end of summer.

Skill information
Possibly the fastest, most powerful skill search ever created! You can type any word or partial word of the the skill name, description, attribute or the elite keyword to filter your result.

Map and Elite skill location

Check out our full world map, with very fast map scrolling (all directions). All skills (including elite skills) have locations where they can be captured. Simply click on the skill and check special mark on the map.

Friendly template management

Save, load, and reload your template with ease.

Most of the time we only want to change a few skills; with a good template management you will save time by eliminating the need to recreate your builds over and over.

A recent menu option was added for a 'quick open' of the last accessed template.

All your templates are saved in XML format [check the Template folder]. This makes them highly portable so you can use them on your web site or even other utilities. However we do not guarantee that the format will not change / evolve over time.

Double strategy/template support


Do you like to have a different skills combo for PvE and PvP? Just want to compare 2 possibilities? GW Freaks has a nice feature that allows you to build 2 full skill bars at once.

You can also drag and drop/copy from one toolbar to the other. This fast and side-byside comparison allows you to quickly and easily consider template options.

Template export

When your template is completed, why not sharing it with friend? The GW community is huge and maybe someone would like to know what crazy skill combo you've just discovered.

The export module has been improved to offer wide variety of export format to accomodate nearly all popular board types in the Guild Wars community. If your board is not compliant with any listed here you will need to use the plain text format.
Equipment manager and builder

GWFreaks offer support for weapon and armor. Bonus are taken into consideration for total heal, energy, regeneration and attribute level.
The application is shipped with basic set of pvp weapon and unique (green) items.

Build-in updater

GW Freaks comes comlete with a build-in updater for both the program and the data.

Simply open the menu tools - Check for updates. A list of recent updates will be downloaded from our server and you will have the choice to update now or wait.

Actually, the old version of the tool quickly became obsolete because of the frequent game updates so make sure to check on a regular basis so that you can always be using the latest version.

Errmm to get this straight, guildwars.com even supports this site and wth you would bother writing your account name and passwort in... Like someone would do that.
Its a offline tool, it dont needs your ID information, nor it has any supecious things init... and a keylogger/trojan would be kinda messy with over 50.000 users of it.

Mit dem Tool kann man sich seine Builds zusammen bauen. (OFFLINE)

Das gute an dem Ding sind die ganzen Zusatzfunktionen:
- Man kann sich seine Fertigkeiten freischalten und somit planen welche Fertigkeiten noch fehlen.
- Es wird angezeigt wo es die Fertigkeiten / Items / best. Personen gibt (mit Karte)
- Multi-Language (siehe nächste Funktion)
- Fertigkeitendatenbank mit Suchfunktion

Anwendungsbeispiel:
Du bekommst ein Build von einem englischen Freund
Du stellst es dir im GW Freaks zusammen
"Oh ich brauche Tainted Flesh. Was ist das?"
GWFreaks auf englisch umschalten
Fertigkeiten suche "Tainted Flesh"
Auf Deutsch zurück
Aha, es heisst Verdorbenes Fleisch
"Oh, es ist noch grau. Ich habs noch nicht. Wo krieg ich das?"
Auf Fertigkeit klicken, rechts unten steht schon:
Fels der Verdammnis (Gegnerboss), Dosakaru Fevertouch (Lindwurm)
Wenn man nun auf diese Info klickt geht die Karte auf und es wird angezeigt, wo das ist.

Also ich mag GW Freaks. Weil man einfach einen Überblick über seine Builds hat und nicht mit Zetteln hantieren muss. Ausserdem ist es ein guter Übersetzer...

- It shows you where you can find skills / items / persons (with map)
- Multi-Language (see next feature)
- Skilldatabase with search

Example:
You get a build from a german friend (germans are the best friends)
You rebuilt it in GW Freaks
"Oh, I need Verdorbenes Fleisch. What in hell is that? **** Krauts!!!"
Switch GW Freaks to german language
Search the skill "Verdorbenes Fleisch"
Back to english
It's "Tainted Flesh"
"Oh, its grey. I didn't own it. Where can i get it? **** Krauts!!!"
Click on the skill
In the lower right corner you can read:
Perditon Rock (Mob Boss), Dosakaru Fevertouch (Drake)
If you click on the info, the map apears and you can see where it is

I like this tool. You get a good overview of your builds and you don't need notes anoymore.
And it's a good translator...
