this works for all versions of gunz please give me credits just follow these instructions
things you need
1 brutecrc32
2 the images u want 2 put in gunz as the background (must be 800x600 pixels and must b a jpg image you can edit them to that size using any picture editor including windows paint for most windows anyway)
3 the loadable.mrs file from the gunz u want 2 edit (must be up to date)
4 an mrs decompiler
5 a non updating launcher
k now right click on youre gunz shortcut it can b found in the start menu. then click the shortcut tab then click find target. if done right it will open youre gunz folder now open the interface folder and look 4 loadable.mrs when u find it move it somewhere where u can keep it dont lose it or delete it. now copy the loadable.mrs file and put it in the same folder as the mrs decompiler. now open the decompiler and in the top line type loadable then click decompile, when it is done close the decompiler. now delete the loadable.mrs that u just decompiled not the one i told u 2 save just the copy. now open brutecrc32 and press select, now select the decompiled loadable.mrs it can be found in same folder as the decompiler it is the folder called loadable. once u have opened the folder called loadable click on the file named loginbg and press open, if done right it will open it in brutecrc32. now click Examine it should make a bunch of numbers and/or letters in the box 2 the right copy them. now open notepad or something similar and put loginbg then under that put the letters/numbers that u copied from brutecrc32. now go back 2 brutecrc32 and click select again only this time open rstbg_clan not loginbg. once u have opened it click Examine. now copy the new letters/numbers, then click on notepad and press enter. now type rstbg_clan and paste the numbers/letters under it.
now go back to brutecrc32 and press select again only this time open rstbg_deathmatch. once it is open press examine, then copy the new letters/numbers and go 2 notepad. in notepad press enter and type rstbg_deathmatch under that paste the numbers/letters u copied. now go back 2 brutecrc32 and press select this time open rstbg_quest. now press examine, then copy the numbers/letters and go 2 notepad. when in notepad press enter and type rstbg_quest, then under that paste the letters/numbers from brutecrc32. now take the images u want and rename them accordingly
loginbg = the login screen
rstbg_clan = the screen at the end of clan war
rstbg_deathmatch = the screen at the end of deathmatch
rstbg_quest = the screen at the end of a quest when u win
after you rename them move them to the loadable folder say yes when it asks 2 replace, then go back 2 brutecrc32.--- once in brutecrc32 press select, then open one of the files u put in the loadable folder. once it is open go 2 notepad and look 4 its name,after u find its name copy the letters/numbers below it. now go back 2 brutecrc32 and past the numbers/letters in the box above the Do It! button, then press the do it button this might take a while. after a while a screen will pop up press the ok button, then repeat the steps after --- only do it with a different file than u did it with before. keep repeating that step tell u have edited them all. once done open the mrs decompiler, make sure u already deleted the old loadable.mrs from the mrs decompilers folder, and type loadable in the bottom box. now click compile, then put the new loadable in the Interface folder if u forgot where that is start reading instructions under the link i gave u, say yes if it asks u 2 replace. now start gunz from the non updating launcher. if u did it all right there will b a new background on the server select screen. ure done have fun with the new background hack u made.
