KGC increasing lag

recently KGC 's been getting more and more laggy for me, i reached the point now where i cant even play with others anymore, it used to run perfectly fine.

I use Hotspot shield as a bypass, could it be the cause ?

where do you play exactly? (country/location)
i know kgc doesnt need bypassing (for PH)
but still you get laggy due to 'distance lag'
where korean internet providers vs your internet provider dont match speed, pings the like

i live in egypt, but this problem is recent, the lag used to be normal untill like a month or 2, then it became horrible.

did you try to turn off hotspot then try playing KGC?

try looking for a south korean VPN
if that doesn work too
i got nothing else...

KGC shouldn't need hotspot shield/VPN after first login (and creating character)

Seems the lag is because you are using hotspot, if you can't login / play without any VPN try using VPN Gate


You'll need Soft Ether VPN client though to use VPN Gate (choose south korea VPN)

I didnt use hotspot shield after the first time indeed, thanks i ll try to do as you said and update you on the results
