All jou need is cheat engine not to much to learn.Sure if you want your own trainer/hack learn C++ or AutoIt i recommend AutoIt

Why learn C++ when you can learn AutoIt and it's more easy then C++, less time to learn.
And you can do the same with AutoIt what you do in C++.
I know C++ it's more harder and you can do more stuff with it ...
