SWG EMU info!!

There is a SWG emu in development currently with a test server open current progress is said to be at around 80%+ done after 2 years or so of work.

Install your original Pre-CU Version of SWG and download

I tried this emu thing about 2 times before, I just couldn't find any files for patching the original the files. Last time I did this I remember having to install my whole SWG again(and then Patch the entire thing threw SOE) then having to use another program from EMU to patch it for their servers. Seems like things have changed a lot since the last time I did this(though the install process looks about the same).

Anyways last few times I did this when I got on the servers, I looked in pretty bad shape. Wasn't really much playable. How good are things running now for people who have played them recently?

Btw I don't have the pre-CU disks, so I have to redownload the installation files from direct 2 drive again(if I can remember the login) and then re-patch with SOE's servers. Thats why I want to know the status first.

donwload the version, install it, but dont patch it with the sony tool.
Install Launchpad Enhanced, select the path where you installed SWG and it shut do the rest.

You can fight, craft, sell items, use vehicles, group, chat, entertain but some features are still missing :/
