Once again, this year's gamescom, the world's largest fair for entertainment electronics with a focus on PC and video games, will take place in Cologne, Germany. From the 21th of August until the 25th, common visitors but also journalists, merchants and developers will be able to catch a glimpse at new releases and products still in development. All these possibilities will settle in the halls of "koelnmesse". As stated by gamecom's
official homepage, early buyers will be rewarded with 25% discount on their passes. If you want to already get yourself a ticket and save some money in the progress, this might be what you are looking for. Organisers also advise to buy one's pass early, as they expect a big hurry regarding last year's visitor record of over 275,000 persons. Furthermore, there will be a daily visitor limit that, once reached, will prevent any more passes to be sold that day.
"The improvements of the ticketing system and the entrance management proved themselves. With those, we could once more make our visitors feel better during their stay. Regarding the highly anticipated innovations and the very high demand after gamescom, it is to expect that not only passes for Saturday, but also the day tickets will be sold out early, thus we emphasize to go for passes soon", project manager Tim Endres tells us.
In the meantime, well known companies announced their appearance. Among them are Nintendo, Bethesda Softworks, Electronic Arts, Bigpoint, Deep Silver Media, Konami, NCsoft, Riot Games, Ubisoft, Wargaming and Warner Brothers. Regarding current statistics, one can expect about 600 companies to show up. For more in-depth information, go here:
