Even if they are a troll I have to agree with them on this part. When a new mmo arises, names are available. if you wanted to preserve character names and account names, you could have just simply reset every single character to a generic default to allow those names to be reserved -- but you didn't.
I sometimes use a name on other servers which I have used for a long time, but I found out one day another person uses that name. So what. Name isn't reserved. Can't use the name on x server because it is already in use, might as well use a different name.
So, yeah, I dislike the fact you changed someone's in game name for not impersonating someone, for not having an issue against a sort of naming ToS, but just because someone before the wipe had that name and didn't like another using it. That feels like strings are being pulled.
I mean, in that case, I am going to complain on behalf of this for the name being stolen:
