Using Caali files without a LOT of reverse engineering will never make a playable server(a Flyff server needs around 100+ CCU to be considered "playable" due to the need for economy, pvp, and community). If you want to make an emulator for v11 or whatever, that is respectable. A fully rewritten source code could be useful and effective for production, but would be very costly in time and effort and I do not recommend this for most servers.

What you're doing is using incomplete files(when complete files are available, with source code access) to host a server that will lead to only disappointment from your players. There is NO reason to use Caali files over server files with source access.

Overall, you're living in the past as many Flyff players seem to be. Caali servers may have been fun for you, but there is no room to improve upon them. I'm sure we all can agree Flyff is not(and never has been) a perfect game in many ways and has a lot of room for improvement. Look at the flying for example, it's incredibly boring when it could be very fun with some modifications.

just let him do what he want... you got your succesfuly server and it's okay. If he want to do a Calli Server let him do I don't understand why you want to influence him.

This is true, it is his choice ultimately. However, he would learn much more by working with files that use source code(whether emulator or official).

I just find it sad that most of the players that join his server with such high hopes, will probably be disappointed when it goes down from instability.

Caali Files bekommst du nie sogut hin wie offi Files. Meiner Meinung nach sollte so ein Server wie hier garnicht erst aufgemacht werden.

Ich war früher auch mal drauf und kann mich genau an deinen namen erinnern bzw. an Blubb der dann bei ihrem v14 Server dann GM war.
Die hatten ja Greenland und so.
Seine Themen scheinen fast immer nur Vorstellung von Blacknight zu sein,aber scheint mir nicht so der alte Leiter zu sein.
Ich weiß es ja nicht.

Aber weil Max damals keine Lust mehr drauf hatte habe ich den Server übernommen.
Ja derzeit sind alle Server Down dar FFB bald ein Offi Server rausbringt.
Ich werden ein Mod bitten das hier zu Closen.
