About the Max ITEM ID in defineitem.h

Anyone knows where to find / edit the max item ID of defineitem.h in the source?
A reply with an answer would be really much appreciated.

Afaik after loading the spec item the server is sorting the item array by item id. Have a look on the last entry which should be the highest item id.
