Win10 DX9: Both games working well.
Win10 DX11: Cactpot working, Cuff-A-Curr doesn't seem to be. Debug window isn't even showing up (it did on DX9).

More than happy to run a CE table for you if provided.
What's the process like to find these memory addresses, anyway? Seems to be a pain.

DX9 is in great shape then. :)

X1650, can you close Uminchu, edit the Ini file for this line:

OptDebug=1

Then launch again and click PID to bring up another debug window. Scroll down to "Focus" when the "Do you want to play Cuff-A-Curr" window is up. It should look like this:



Does the title of the Focus window show SelectString? Anything missing?

There are some different ways to find pointers. The easiest way is to use the pointer scanner, then reload the game, hopefully on another computer/os, then rescan and thin out the results.

Recently I'm tracking what opcodes access the memory and figuring out which ones are important, and then using the offsets from the opcodes as far back down the chain as I can go. If I get lost in a loop I can finish it off with pointer scanning. This is improving my results it seems.

Both of these techniques are covered in the CE tutorial. There are more advanced break/trace techniques available as well, but I'm not quite confident in these myself yet.

Thanks for being careful to notice the address. That's fine - good in fact. All relevant memory seems to be working properly for you.

It's very strange that the popup shows for you but not X1, and SelectString etc is showing for X1. I don't understand this world.

I reviewed the code and can't figure it out. I tried to make the string comparison more simple. Now if it merely contains "Vous êtes stressée par votre", it should try to proceed. It's working here, but then again it was working before... Give the latest update a go. And thanks for the patience.

By the way, I forgot to mention that I improved desynthesis slightly by stopping it from clicking on nearby stuff.

Its a gendered sentence and i'm a male, that why you have "ée" and why i have "é"

This morning, the game itself worked but not the popup to play again. Now nothing work lol, and i lost the white window i had this morning :'(

I took out the popup on purpose to not bother users for whom it works. If Cuff-A-Curr works for you in FR-DX9, at least the bot logic is working (it's checking the text properly).

I think the explanation to account for your inconsistent results and X1650's negative results is that the pointer is still not that great.

I updated again and just tried the next nice-looking pointer that works on both of my machines. Maybe it's fixed, who knows. This is a very inelegant method of going through 15000 pointers that work for me. If you would like to help, please follow these instructions.

1. Download and extract the file.
2. Launch Cheat Engine and FF14-DX11 in Windows 10. Open the process in CE.
3. In CE, type ctrl-m, ctrl-p, ctrl-o, or just ctrl-mpo. Open the .ptr file that you extracted.
4. Close Memory Viewer and just use the Pointer scan window now. Press ctrl-r and select "only filter out invalid pointers" and save over the same file.
5. Look at the results. Hopefully most of the "points to" addresses go to the same address, ideally for the pointers with smaller and fewer numbers of offsets. If so, press ctrl-r again and this time type that address that showed up on many of the pointers for "Address to find:". Rescan and save.
6. Zip/upload the results.

The bot did an update few minutes ago and everything works now. DX9 and 11 ^^

Added status text for most automation functions, including the average MGP earnings rate for Cuff-a-Cur. Looks to be about 9.6kMGP per hour when operating as intended.

I checked my server logs and it seems we have 327 unique users in the last two months. Neat. :)

It should be easy to add with the tools I have already. I should also add aetherial reduction since it's identical to desynthesis.

The problem with PotD is... I never do PotD...
