My guess is it's trying to use food, I think the default settings (player.xml) has ctrl+k as food, which is the default key to open the system config.

Put to use food for recipe level over 999 or fix your food hotkey if you want food.

I changed food level to 999 and now it's just spamming SHI" (my D4) repeatedly at a rate of about once per 1/2 second. Doesn't open the crafting book or anything else first ><

Oh, also, the message in the bottom left of the main window remains stuck on "Opening Book"

Edit: Um, well, new problem. Opened the book for the bot, it starts the recipe, hit SHII once, and is now just sitting there, not attempting to hit any keys at all. Am I maybe missing abilities from my bar?

I'm a 55 crafter but due to gear constraints haven't always been using the top tier skills available to me, like WN2 for example. I still manage to HQ most recipes at-level or lower with a Hasty Touch spam rotation. Feeling so dumb right now, lol. Usually have no problems setting things up, other bots included, I just haven't seen any instructions for how to use this any where.

its prob trying to use the skill its showing the icon for, which you might not have bound? Or not on your bar.

Also it shouldnt open with SH, either IQ or CZ the great majority of the time, so that might be misbound as well...

The message in the bottom left says, "Move: Comfort Zone, waiting for step to change"

But, Comfort Zone (set to F) is on my bar, and when I test the hotkey through the "Test" button in options, it works.

Steady Hand II is set to 4 on my bar, and when I test the hotkey, it works. If I don't open the book for the bot, it just sits there and spams 4/Steady Hand II repeatedly.

If I do open the book for the bot, it casts Steady Hand II, then does nothing, and the entire time the message says it's waiting for Comfort Zone.

Was I supposed to move my abilities to match the default hotkeys? I was under the impression from the options screen that I could customize the bot's default hotkeys to match my bars, not that I had to match my hotkeys to the bot's defaults. I guess I'll try reloading defaults and see what happens...

dont reload defaults...

did you change the key to open the recipe book? By default its set to alt + 4 on the bot.

You need to change RecipeNote hotkey to your recipebook hotkey, thats probably one of your problems .

Well, I finally got it working. Confirmed: I'm an idiot sometimes. Going to continue tinkering with it for now. It's piqued my curiosity and is a very cool bot to be sure. I might end up owing you a manual after all :P

EDIT: Sorry, one last snare I ran into (I hope):

"Key:Menu is an invalid key please change key setting"

This popped up between recipes of different crafts when I assume the bot was trying to change crafts. I do have all of the DoH class hotkeys mapped, but will poke around some more.

EDIT2: I haven't quite figured out what's causing it to hang here. It changes other classes with no problem, but for some reason when trying to go from anything --> WVR (Ctrl+G) it spits out the "invalid key" message. If I then click the hotkey for WVR and then click "OK" on the error dialogue, the bot takes over again and all is well. Is there some conflict with Ctrl+G and another keybind?

Try going into player.xml and doing ctrl+f Weaver, see if it shows ctrl+g properly.

(I think it's a bug it doesnt save hotkeys for whatever reason or bugs out, something with windows Key)

At work now, will do when I get home, but I've "solved" it for the most part. If/when it happens (it was running really smoothly at the end last night) I was able to get it "un-stuck" by tabbing through the right-side options and reassigning each hotkey.

I helped a friend set up the bot last night and he ran into a similar issue. After the first round of customizing hotkeys, he fired up a recipe and the menu error popped up. He re-opened 'Options' and it had reassigned all of his right side hotkeys to Alt+Menu.

He tabbed through each one, setting them back, then saved and re-opened again. This time, only two class hotkeys (BSM and WVR I think) were reassigned Alt+Menu yet again. He repeated the same process, closing and reopening one more time, and it finally saved his key binds.

Otherwise, amazing bot. Was blowing our minds. If you want to PM me an e-mail address I'll send you a rough draft of a manual if you're still interested. Idiots like my friend and I could really benefit from one.

I would avoid all that by deleting player.xml on the first install, then going through and manually binding each thing you will use. That basically prevents you from having bad binds.

I might have an idea whats causing it, it's a bug not you guys being idiots...

I have 30% of the offsets done for x64 version.

The crafting struct is completely different (somehow), really annoying.
