I am having issues downloading patch. I recently was kicked out of the place I was living so I only have a tethered phone for internet at this time. If anyone has experience with cheatengine, feel free to try and find the addresses.

I cannot find the addresses if I cannot download patch.

Kind of hard to explain. You would have had to known the addresses I had before. The fishing widget address that displays numbers that change when an action is performed within the widget. The chat log address that displays most of the actions performed while using the widget.

Anyone looking for a bot that works atm, try Shadow 13ot. The original Shadow 13ot.

Hey 13ouncer, you wouldn't happen to be able to lead me in the direction of a good autoit tutorial? There are no fishing bots that work while minimized at the moment, and I have too much going on with work and school to allow a bot to keep me from working my computer.

I know you supplied the source code for your bot, which is probably a great starting point, and is really appreciated, but I have no programming experience whatsoever. Although, I'm technically inclined for the most part, and catch on to things well. I'm just not sure where to even start. I really just need to make it drop the line and jig where I want it to. I have no need for changing bait, auto logging off, or any thing else.

Just read the help file that comes with autoit. It has many examples. That is how I learned.

that is how all of us learned, google has every answer you need. Start with the basics, you want to read memory. then you want to send key presses. Programming is the easy part, finding reliable offsets for use is the hard part.

Assuming your fishing window uses the same window offset as the craft bot, (and it probably does since the mining window is in same location, even if it is not it will be +/- 0x180)

EB8978 + 289A

I'm still working on the chat log. My first try came up empty so i made it wider and deeper, it will probably take another day or two for this test to finish.

I use 3 different addresses in the same area. I search for 1 byte and depending on what that value is I then run it through an identifier through one of my functions.

thanks, I am not sure how I didnt find that offset within 5 minutes as they only changed the base offset and first offset (I always try filtering for minimum the last or last two offsets if it isnt just the base offset changed).

Uldah map ID is 1116
Central thanalan is 1101

Can you try to find this offset while im at work? If so, when I get home i'll update the map radar and mining bot. I have 4096 wide 5 deep running on home computer atm, dont know when it will finish. In the past mapID was only 3 deep with widest being 0x710.

New version released.
I updated memory addresses and changed the chat log parser. I have not tested it on windows 7 or xp. The bot might not read the log in these versions of windows. Let me know if they do not.

Thanks!

Bot is working for me kinda on win7 64bit. The log for fish caught is not working. Also, bot is not stopping on "fish is tired". Thanks for updating this though. Keep up the good work!

What invzamer said and also it doesn't seem to "understand" fish is taking line, I guess this is because chat isn't working either

I need to test on windows 7 and find the chat address on it as well.

If the bot is not displaying the chat log, try this;

Change

[Address 1]
Value=
Type=CHAR[100]
Address1=0017CE3A
Address1Offset0=
Address1Offset1=

To

[Address 1]
Value=
Type=CHAR[100]
Address1=0018CE3A
Address1Offset0=
Address1Offset1=

I am guessing this will work, but I need someone to test it.
