EFT REGION LOCK

so today I was starting eft up and got hit with a "error 103003 invalid game region", looked up got confused for a bit but turns out BSG turned region lock back on, will this go away soon or is this set in stone? Also want to know if anybody has a free or cheap vpn that vpn's to Russia servers.

"Urban VPN" is for free and works in RU etc

Who knows, it was always clear that theyd turn it back on someday. But Im sure when they need some cash theyll turn it off again
For a VPN I like Mullvad, its 5 euros per month and a good VPN in general but cracked accounts for nordvpn etc. are also a thing if youre that cheap

i installed urban vpn and used it to vpn to Russia and the launcher still gave me an error but a different one, something about "suspicious activity", so **** they really are on their A game.

Try to Restart your router and try again with the VPN. Make sure to connect to the VPN before opening the launcher

I assume they plan to improve it, since it's back online. Seems very stupid to bring it back with no improvements tho..

They already improved it a while ago even before they turned it off, I think what they had was good enough. I also think that bsg has bigger problems than a region lock thatll get circumvented anyways, no matter how much work they put into it

Do you know for sure they didnt change anything? I dont have a cis account to test

Your comment is not wrong, but having a good region lock would have a lot of benefits, and would increase sales with all these exploited CIS accounts.

You dont necessarily need a Russian server, just one of these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common...tes#Membership
VPNs usually have servers in Ukraine or Moldova

Oh okay now the issue i have is im connected to my vpn and now nothing loads on browser and the launcher still blocks me maybe a router setting? Or im incompetent lol.


Edit i get to the captcha now and its not accepting any of the captcha

Restart modem , restart pc then open vpn and try login game but did not work.
Any more ideas ?

You're VPN region is wrong, try others; Russia, Ukraine. It works.
