its almost never the binary that they send letters about or anything its the client.... they can still get us but nobody's scared by a letter now lmao

o.o, "LOL"so btw does this method of coding a source same to uh CO? o.O
like adding commands and bla...........

well... Its exactly like that ... I actully am basing it off co emu v2 which i felt was the best decent source to use that fits into eo well

also the whole seperate server thing is liked here in eo dev so it being pre-split helps

lol and someone made a thread that EO is dieing, ***** this thread alone is all the proof someone needs to know EO isnt dieing, just want to say nice job man, cant wait till its finished xD

No Eo is dieing.. at least the generic out of the box servers like most of what people are running. 99% of the people dont bother to add, change, or even put in anything orginal. No this thread is not proof EO isnt dieing. This thread is proof that hio is trying to bring life back into a tired old game by giving it a revamp. SO yes Eo is dieing because lets face it there aint **** that has changed. However with what hio is working on.. It may just get a new life.

hio I have done almost no work with packets when it comes to C# but I am sure you had some kind of tuts along the way? If you have a good place with a nice series of packet handling with C# (I don't mind if it's advanced) I will run through them in spare time and would be able to confidently join you. I was also wondering about those packets? I finally got winhex installed again although I still have to crack it though *****.....

Might make my own binary reader/writer for my own needs

really packets are packets and thats basically its there is a lot more on how packets actually work but all that is is pretty much just a head containing information like sender ip receiver ip etc all the information to get to its destination

i havent really read any guides on packets as i kinda already worked out it reading bits here and there and playing with them whats the real challange is how the packet itself works

there may have been a co video i watched on it i cant be 100% sure about that lmao

as for winhex i can sort ya if you want lol

i will have a look around for ideas for ya though

...I know "what" packets are just never used them in programming...

with the way packets are handled in this source you basically load the packet up into an array then send the array byte by byte

no i just have exams etc on atm .... if there was one last thing ild do before i let this die it would to at lest publicly put out everything i currently have and know so that others can pick it up and continue ... i truly believe in this taking eo to new heights and well i want to make that happen

im tryin to use the NewestCO 5165 server source which probably wouldnt be bad if i could get the NewestCoServer.exe to load everytime i tried to start it up it opens up and then closes with no errors or anything i followed the guide for getting it running and it still didnt work.
