Well 1GB is going to be the minimum you are going to be able to get away with to run the binaries. To be honest, I have never worked with a server that has that little memory before. Perhaps someone else has and can share their experiences?

Lol I try it with 512... However I never try it with more than a handful of people. But I can tell you that you won't be able to use that computer as long as it's running the server. If you do it will lag the game for people. Other than that shut down anything that doesn't need to be running. You'll get the low memory message but as long as it's just you and a few friends you'll be fine.
One thing I notice between using 512Mbs and 2Gbs was that the msg and the npc servers loading time were different. But that should go without saying.

Those using 4Gbs is normally due to them using windows 64bit. If I remember right I don't think a 32bit will support any more than 2Gbs, I don't know how true that is b/c I never had the need to use more than 2Gbs. But your fine no need to upgrade it.
Personally I say your fine and if your not using that computer for nothing else but to run the server you should be more than fine.

Well vista/7 32bit editions will read max 3.5~3.6GB RAM, XP 2GB Max thus if you have 4GB and using xp 32bit i guess the "more ram" you get will be used as pagefile, well there are many contradictions and debates on that over the whole internet so i guess its a matter of personal use.

I agree with the whole internet thing. For some it's not always the internet that's laggin their game. Had some people that play 2-5 client at the same time, limewire/utorrent/grabit, running WM 11... did I forget they're connected to someone's wireless that they only get about 5-15% signal strength. For these people I feel bad for their computer.

no way, 32bit will read max 2gb, it will display the 4gb ram but it will not use the potential of it, thats why 64bit systems are for, and i know what i'm talking about.

1. Ok but which OS are you using
2. What do you mean by "if you allow it to," not saying this b/c I don't believe you. Just don't understand it. Just b/c you got 4gbs in there and it starts up doesn't mean it's using all 4gbs. Like you can't use the full hard drive. 8-16mbs are missing from the totally amount of the hard drive when you go to view it. Which when I remember to why that is I'll let you know b/c I forgot. Come to think of it same thing happens when you view how much ram you got. It comes up a little short.
Personally I do believe it would I don't get to why it wouldn't. Think Microsoft just said that there is a max limit just to sell the 64bit. Who knows, after all we still don't know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop... 1... 2... >.< lmao

Exactly what the title says.
I keep on getting an xTrap error when i try and load ANY private server that uses XTrap and it's driving me absolutely insane.
I cant figure out why it's showing me the error. If anyone has any bypasser for Helix / PaRaDoX
or any other server u know that has xTrap can u either PM me the bypass or post it here pls......this is driving me nuts
