connecting problems

ok so today i decided to change my database on my server. so i switched to mysql 4 because 5 has the legion bug and was the reason i switched. then replaced the "my" folder and tried to run it. all of my config files and everything are ok and everything seems in order but when i run my acc serv it just disappears...any suggestions or help?

You changed mysql versions .. so maybe as well my.ini in windows folder was changed ... this means login, pass etc that you normally have set in old way inside account server folder ....

Check this one ... maybe will help - thats at least my first idea ...

one step ahead of ya...i reset the pass from rufeng to test and then edited that in the files..even tried downloading a different acc serv but nothing worked

Provide this:
Which mysql files you are using - this from rufeng ? or this from other releases (like from this forum?)

Account Server if was working before should work as well now ... only thing that can play role are those setup files (login, pass, ip etc)

I suggest you:

Use old checked mysql, old checked account server etc... Believe me - you must be missing something

You just changed something witout providing other necessary changes that could be important in this case

oh nvm i fixed it hahaha this database only works with root refung...you were right soul haha
