I was thinking of using my resources and offering hosting cheap through not good but great servers. (People that host EA Games, PlayStation Network, etc.)
I'm able to get good ones cheap and great ones cheaper:P

wast talking about my vps just whether or not this guy should get a cheap host

if its not offensive i would suggest using less servers and combining your ram you dont need that much processor power for what you are doing ..... and because they are all identical it would be very easy to pool them

some of my production servers have specs like that on 1 server instead of 4 .... many hosts offer servers with 32b of ram and some even offer 64gb or more..... in a server with 4xquad core xeons or with 2x i7(almost the same thing)
you will get the same amount of power from your server and it will cost less


maybe also consider adding an ssd as they will speed up your servers response times more than any other upgrade

what do you offer other than what your host offers?

Oh we own our own server, we just don't rent space in it because it's being used for other projects of our own personal life :P
I haven't actually added the prices or anything.
