hamachi creates a private local network over the net
it means to prevent your firewall of blocking acces of outsite (what the most firewalls do , and where the most persones got trouble whit )
it just create a virtal lan , like localhost
and so it prevents the blocking
now to use hamachi then you need to login into the network to join the lan and then you can start playing on lan
whit a normal server do you have a normal ip and conect to the ip to the server , that makes it posseble that every1 can join ^^
hamachi is secure if you dont want to get hacked becouse they need the hamachi network to get to your pc
for me is hamachi the last option if i get trouble to open my ports , for the rest i dont like it (not for this kind of games , only for lan games whit friends is it easy ^^ )
