as you noticed , there are a few locked topics and some users does not agree to those locks on the topic
so why are they complaining to the moderator that does his work ?
the moderator we have does his job like he need to do .. he locks offtopics (so this topic to ^^ )
he does his job and he keeps the forum clean and thats what a moderator need to do ... nothing more to say about that part as he does his job like it need to be
now for the other users who love to go offtopic
this forum is for private server development
what has flaming to do with server development ?? who cares about fearreaper and his tricks ? or even about other users
if i need to start my history about demonpower , then i am still talking over 3 days
i got a lot of moderators/pm's/coders/scripters and whatever you like for demonpower
but they all dit something wrong but do you see me complaining about them ??
saying that fear deleted my database , that fun hacked my db , that keith trashed the npcs ? that pra trashed the accounts ?? that mage trowed reward in game ??
small note , the names used above are EXAMPLES , the real users knows about who i am talking and they know what i think of them and they know i wont allow them to have any rank on my games ..
to get to the point
nobody cares what happens , you as owner are responible for what happends with your server , nobody care about possible new laws or what happends in differen locations about the world
if they like to knwo taht , there are enouf sites where you can talk about it
if you trust some1 then its good for him , but you as owner need to watch over it and take backups in case something goes wrong
then for the flaming , just flame to that persone if you realy want to flame but leave other players out of this , and use email , msn , skype , gmail , whatever that you can not find on this forum
this section is for private server development , to release scripts , to help other players and to show your skills
but as before
if most people would know what i think about them ... not able to connect to mysql ..pfff
then yes , you would see a lot of posts to
basicly if you browse back in the forum , you see 1 big post of me that i made when i realy was tired of all that stuff , the post goes about BASIC guidlines to start a private server (see
)but like usual the most people does not even read them
just like now , complaining to a moderator because YOU think that you are right ?
that he ABUSE his powers ?
lucky you never got on my forum then when i was still active on it
as you wont come back after those things you are saying about some1 who does his work
he just locks the topics , thats still a nice thing to do
i just delete those topics if i see them
so to make a point
if you got nothing to say .. then don't say a thing
if you got something to add to this forum and help it grow .. then go for it
if you like to flame , like to be destructive and blaming ever1 exept yourself for your server that is trashed ( when you coulnd even figure out how to press a start button ) then LEAVE this place or LEARN from your mistakes
but in no way is the moderator that does his job here responsible for what you post
he keeps the forum clean , he use his powers to keep it that way and he does what he can to keep the forum intresting
best example i can provide , as most users knows when i release a script i post it in the eo section
normaly he is allowed to give me a infraction for that .. as it is in the wrong topic (yes i know that ^^ )
instead of that he just move the topic to the right place and leave it there
so even if he give me a infraction , i wont complain about that
only time i complained about infractions (in the complain forum) was about the backlink
but you do not see me making any complains here .. because that is not the right place
so before we get to mutch offtopic , think about this
is it eo related ?? no -> leave
is it ontopic ?? yes -> make a post
is it eo related ?? no -> infraction possible , lock possible or anyhting else possible
is it realy eo related -> post wont be locked
and in case of wondering , this topic is pointing to some people who does not understand how a forum works , how the system works and how rules works
i do not call names , as the reader will know when it goes about him or not
