u have to make an acc at DNS and then ur ip will be static and not dynamic....

I've edited the necessary files similar to how saruba did above (with my own IPs obviously) and I can't get my server up and running. When I go through my port forwarding, it doesn't ask for specific ports to forward, but a range of them. So, I put in the range 3306-9958. What am I doing wrong?

thats one big range it would make for easy hacking

I'm not concerned with that right now, but I am aware of the security issues. Lol. I just want to get the server up and hosted, then I'll work backwards in securing it.

I followd your setps until you say i need to log in in my own gateway... witch i did but i dont know what the hell is my own username and my password... lol

drag it to your desktop,edit it there,save it and exit,then put it back to it's current folder...happy to help xD

it's the dynamic dns YOU made while visiting <<<when you made an account and also made a host...it would say it there lol...
