what windows u want to hosting a server is not important .what the important thing is your pc server spec and your internet line speed connection .

if u are using win vista or win 7 u must run mysql run as admin .

Hey i have a problem i been working on for about 3 days and cant figure out i have tried everything even Reinstalling my windows....
Nothing seems to work i can run the server localhost np, i can run in hamachi np but once i put in my Ip adress the msg and npc wont run says connect to game server.... So heres all my configs

I did run winmyadmin as admin still same problems
Also All ports are forward also tried running as Dmz

Have you edited the shell.dat with a shell editor or hex editor? If so can you post screenshots of that aswell.

Also make sure that your ports are correctly forwarded.

i have had this problem before it has to do with the ports they arent really open to make sure check out this site and test ur ports

if u use ip from whatmyip.org or anything it will not work cause its not static ip .

where do i find the proper ip adress the one i see at whatismyip or w/e it is, is the same it says for my modem ip adress Modem IP Address: 207.81.94.164

if u want to use static ip go buy from your internet supporter or any company that sell vps .or if u want use the easiest way just use hamachi .
