Lol, yeh it would take forever. I have renamed a few higher quality items, but it only shows up when you are looking at them in the inventory, not while they are on the ground. Like if i renamed a RefinedBlade RefBlade, in the inventory it says RefinedRefBlade, but on the ground it just says Blade. So there is more to it than just renaming, i guess.
