Do they ban for buying gold?

Trying to buy some gold. Never done it before, I know the game is fairly new are they quick to ban for that or do they give a single warning like WoW

I've bought gold twice, no issues as of yet. Just trade a rare for the gold and you'll be Gucci

Like most games out there, you have a chance of getting banned when buying from obvious botters, and almost zero chance when buying from other legit players.

I've been selling gold since the first week and naturally nothing ever happened to anyone (And i've stopped, worth too little nowadays).

I don't know how NA / EU players find farmers, but at least in my region we have public discords and facebook groups for it. Google will always lead you to massive bot farms selling currency.

I know they cracked down heavily on WoW for this, I was banned for that back then, but I think as long as you offer something in return for it, should be fine.

D4 does not ban buying gold. You can check my profile, I have a recommendation!

If it is noticed you will probably just get the money deducted and a warning, that's how it was in Guild Wars, EVE Online etc.

9 billion twice, still no ban
just trade ancestral gear to be extra "safe", not tried normal or sacred.
I'm guessing deduction of gold or temp ban maybe, worst case perma

Blizzard is very relaxed as usual with their anti-cheat.
I have never heard of a ban in Diablo 2, and I don't know anyone personally in Diablo 4 who has been banned for trading.

Of course there is always a risk, it is not a black market for nothing.
But as long as you don't do anything strange except gold trading, a ban is unlikely.
