Trade hack or waht ?

Hey guys I got a question , my friend wanted to sell his +9 DN Summoner set for a Ak set . He traded a segnale called lilsheep she put her dn +9 ak set and he put his +9 summy set . After the trade was succesfull she logged off , he looked in his inventorie and had only +4/+6 stuff . How did she did it ? Or another question is there anyway to be safe that something like that don`t happed to yourself ?

Or any way to edit the items visual for the other trade partner?

Does ur friend have actual proof? Maybe he just didint notice it or something then lied?
I dont think that this is possible couse it would take some serious packet edit'ing.

A way to protect ur self? The game has a trade safeguard, so u need to click confirm more then onece (when the trade items are locked and nothing can changed till u both click confirm), just look at every item.

He checked all item exactly at the second cofirm page . And he kinda saw only +9 items . And now he don`t have a proof , he wasn`t ready that theres something like that , I though a bit about it , and I try to make a way with cheat engie maybe i will be successfully .

Something like this happened to me once..

I was browsing shops "this was before AH' and say a very cheap +7 item, so i bought it, when i went to equip it i noticed no glow, checked it again and it was +1

give a reason why not. don't just blur out stuff that you have no idea about. All u are doing by saying that is misleading other users

well as for me i try that a lot of time but never success. I dual client one with hack and one normal. when i use my normal client to check my hack client it say +1 but on my hack client i change the +1 to +9 . so i don't think it possible because i tested a lot of time with CE ,CVS and winhex . anyway keep in mind that when you use hack most of them is only visible to your eye not to other normal people that don't use hack

did you just try editing the name of the item, or did you try editing the item Index?
you have to remember that the way item information is sent and received is through Indexes and not full text strings

Maybe you can change the visual thing with a packet sniffer?
That u can recieve the packet change it so that the item looks like a +9, send it back to the server and the server shows the other person that this item is +9...

I'm not sure because CE only affects client sided information & server incoming. There is something else needed to do such stuff, altough I really am surprised if this is true, something like this is possible.
