Winhex question

I have searched for about 30 minutes with the search tool on the forums and through popular tutorials. I haven't found an answer to my question.

I've just finished downloading and installing Winhex and unpacking my data folder.

What i cant seem to find is an exact step by step from the very beginning. I'm not quite sure which file to open on Winhex first to begin my altering of the hex numbers.

I'm a quick learner, i just need a little ignition.

You didn't search well, sometimes you have to look on the sections yourself also, not only by search button

Honestly, once i looked closer and actually stopped for a minute to think, I see that the directory on which file to open on Winhex was right there :P
