In-Game Sentinals?

I've been seeing these "***1" people around everywhere on my bot ever since the new patch, but when I log in, no one is around. I may be merely paranoid, but does anyone else think that it may be a new sentinal system to catch hackers and botters?

As you can see, I'm in the middle of castor 2, there are no NPC's in the middle of castor 2.

so it only shows whats close to you?, then yeh maybe its what 8gX said.

also i notice it says NPC+player so could it be players?, like maybe they are bots too so when you login you don't see the cause they already moved away xd (like how bots will run into a wall then shoot off past it xd)
