try to change it to 300, i think thats why mobs go around u, other than that u don't need the ''99,99,99'' thing, since the mobs already, all mobs follow u..

EDIT: as for the extra byte simply put a comma '','' instead of the next 0, as a blank space or 0 is the same

first of all you don't actually need to delete byte. 0300 = 300 , so it is okay.
Anyway te restriction on file size was actually a way to go around the CRC check, but it actually don't work anymore. Since you need a crc bypass anyway, doesn't matter if you change the file size, as long as you got the bypass. Anyway it won't work without the bypass.
