I went to bed and then woke up to find that my SQL Server Service Manager wont start. It sits there saying "Starting" and I haven't changed anything. The server is the same and the service too. Here's a pic.
Okay so I need to know why It would start before and now it's not.
If you know something I don't, Please leave the solution here.
Nope there no pass for the user so that could not be the problem.
I think it may be because of the router. I forgot to add that we changed routers and the local ip is different. 127.0.0.1 is normal and the newer router has 10.0.0.1. So I replaced the new router with the old one and Its still not working so I think I need to do something but idk what it is...
I had that problem before. Took me ages to find out why that's happening.
I don't know if this will fix the problem for you, since I feel that this might be caused by many different problems, but here's what was happening for me: The database's evaluation period has expired, so what you have to do is re-install your MSSQL with another installation file, because the same one won't work ^^
Wait wait...So how long is the trial period and also I thought that all you have to do is install the trial version and after it ends you will still have the needed programs to run the server...

After it runs out, it simply won't start, and it won't give any error, which is really annoying... And I think the trial/evaluation period is 90 days.

i did and now it's working again. Big thanks zombe. Once again my questions where answered. It very nice to have people as nice as you and there are a bit of them but on the other hand there are alot of those that dont.
to backup your databases without a running database.
dave the .mdf,.ldf files somewhere.
reinstalll the mssql server, restore the dataabses of some old backups you find on my post for example, STOP the sql server, drag the files you saved into the same folder where the other files are, replace the copied ones with the new ones, and then start your sql server again.
liek that you'll have the databases you had before
Thanks silkbotter but all I do is jsut copy the files with the database files and then when I make a new database I just paste them over and It works so.
Account/Server Manager (C++) 08/05/2009 - CO2 Private Server - 16 Replies I will be creating a C++ application that will allow you to modify accounts and also allow you to add NPCs and all of that stuff.
I'm still trying to to figure out what would be best. Would it be best to just keep it on localhost, and the server owner would be the only person who could use it? or should I create a config file and force the owner to port forward for his administrators to get online?
Also, due to all the leechers, who will just remove my name from my application and call it...
