it's been a while since I posted an update here, so I'll try to cover as many things as I remember:
####General####
-Starting level is now 180 and levelling is way easier. Max level is 200
-Starting chars get a full 150 +9 set with +9 excellent weapons, 160 +9 armlets and belt and rings (7days)
-Meister quest no long requires 100 mobs in one of the parts. its 30 now.
-In lower level maps you can lure up to 10 mobs per char
-We have added a special boss map where you can farm PP and dils
-You can enter heiharp only if you have a special key
The key is valid for 24 hours, after that time you can no longer enter the map.
The key is NOT a single use item, you can leave and enter the map however many times you want. it only disappears if you drop it, sell it or it times out.
This is the first of custom coded items since we started.
-Class change item has been added to dshop
All you have to do is place the item in your inventory and relog. When you log back in, your class will be changed and skills with stats will be reset.
-We have made purchase points tradable. You can buy Jar of Profits from our custom npc, you can also sell it. Each Jar is worth 100k PP.
-Dil gets picked up automatically. You no longer need to push space to pick up dil. it lands straight in your inventory
-We have added 19x sets and they can be exchanged for other armors with the same stats (sort of like the skin system except weapon skin system is much better :P)
####DKSQ related changes####
-Stones no longer give 140 points, now it's 350
-Each time you kill a player you get a 10 seconds shield recovery buff
-Each time you kill a player you have a 50% chance of getting a tombstone fragment
-Tombstone fragments are used to upgrade DKSQ sets. There are 3 stages and you get the first stage from heiharp. Each upgrade costs 60 tombstones.
-You can no longer peek at the enemy team.
####Evolution Event Server 1.0####
I have coded a custom server for hosting events for our server. There are two events added that run a few times a day:
-Chest event runs 4 times a day (times can be found on our forum). Each time it spawns 25 chests located in Loa Castle. It does it 3 times in total for each event. Each chest contains sandstone paper, soulstones and dils.
-Generals event runs 2 times a day, it spawns 5 golden bosses on 5 different maps (so 25 in total). They give a decent amount of PP and exp. They also drop a box which contains ice melter (the key to enter heiharp). Higher tier bosses can drop a box which contains a +10 excellent or +10 ultimate weapon box.
-Spot EXP/PP Event is only scheduled by me and only runs when I schedule it. Right now it handles 10 different spots on the event map and it spawns mobs for the crowd gathered on the spot. If there's less than 5 players on the spot, the server will not spawn any mobs. It's usually a pretty generous event for all the players so it happens only when it's scheduled.
A wave of announcements starts an hour before the event happens.
####Weapon skin system####
That was probably the hardest thing to make for me. I spent so much time coding it I feel like half of my braincells died.
Our custom npc is growing and has another feature, you can apply a skin on your 175 +10 weapon and make it look different. There are 15 skins for each weapon and which skin you get is random. Each "roll" costs 20k PP
