Everyone seems to do it, so will I.
I've come up with an idea a couple months back, I wanted to create something unique, something that nobody's done before for Dekaron.
So in the past three months, my team and I have been working on implementing all of the changes I came up with, some had to be rethought, some were harder to add than others, but in the end we're very close to being done with the initial state of the game.
You begin at level 200 and you have two maps to choose from.
Ruins - map for whoever is scared of being killed, it's a non PK zone, but also the droprates arent as good as on the second map. You cant take comissioned quests on this map and it should only be used as a last resort.
Space - Map with regular droprates (higher than ruins), PK zone, getting soulstones and essences is easier here. You can also take comissioned quests here, which give custom reward box and soulstone (+exp of course)
Custom upgrade system
Upgrading items no longer requires argates, we have unified it and for each level you use sandpaper. The same sandpaper is used for +1, and +9.
However, you cant just take an item to the blacksmith and go from +0 to +9 on a single item. There are different armors which you have to go through.
There are four tiers of armors available. Only one drops from mobs.
*Normal - items can be upgraded up to +5 only and can only be white (so no additional stats). This is the only tier that actually drops from mobs, it's also the most basic tier with pretty much nothing to offer.
*Bronze - to get this tier, you need to upgrade your normal item. To do that, upgrade your normal item to +5, find bronze essence (mobs) and go to an npc to get your bronze +5 item. Bronze can go up to +7 and can have double magic stats as well as slots. it also gives some additional stats (they are static, so upgrade level doesnt matter - you get them either way)
*Silver - Very much like bronze tier, you get this by upgrading Bronze +7 with two silver essences which can be obtained by killing monsters. Silver tier goes up to +8 and can have double magic and noble stat and slots. Silver tier has better bonus stats than bronze.
*Gold - Last and the best tier of armors, it gives the highest stats for items, can be made double magic, noble and divine, and upgrading process requires three gold essences obtained from monsters, silver item +8 and in return you receive Gold +8. Also looks quite neat. I cant wait to see a siege battle with people in gold armors.
Weapons have their own story as well. Right now we have 5 different types of green weapons: Unique, Seraph, Legendary, Ultimate and Excellent.
Ultimate is the most basic one, although it gives half of the stats of excellent weapon (which is the best), it is not used for any combination. To get it you need to kill umbar. to upgrade the weapon you just go straight to the top and thats it.
Rest of the weapons however is a different story. Each of the first three weapons gives single stats.
seraph gives vitality, legendary gives critical rate and unique gives +20 all stats. You need to collect all three to get an excellent weapon. As I have previously mentioned, excellent weapon gives 2x the stats of legendary.
Once you trade in your weapons for an excellent one, the upgrade process is simple. get some sandpaper and polish it up.
Meister skills
Every single action 9 servers allow you to use all 6 (or 8) skills. This is no longer the case in here, as we made it so that you cannot learn both skill trees at once. Only one is allowed and when you learn the first skill of the first tree, you are unable to learn the other tree.
Custom Quests
We are the first and only server with fully custom quests. Right now there are four, but it's only a matter of time till we add many more.
One of the first farming/levelling maps has two custom comissioned quests.
We have also added an attendce event for higher level players. The goal of the quest is to kill umbar, for which you receive attendence ticket. There are also different rewards for different amounts of tickets.
DK Square
DK Square has received a slight update compared to all of the action 9 servers, first of all, every class (new or old) can receive buffs and quests now. DK Square no longer runs 24/7. it starts for two hours, then its blocked for two. The idea behind this is to encourage farming and PK.
Battle Royale will also receive an update, what I want to do is make it give custom rewards. Many people dont like the colosseum at all, and that's partially because of the rewards system. The winner gets everything while losers get next to nothing. I do agree that losers shouldnt get as much as a winner, but the disproportion is way too big. There will be random rewards selected every 24 hours. When you log in you will receive a custom notification that the reward of the day is for example a pack of soul stones.
The amount of items winners/losers get will also vary on the type of item selected at the beginning of the day.
Heal builds shouldnt be an issue either at higher levels, since 65k hp limit is gone.
Soul stones
I mentioned that name before, but you're probably wondering what it is?
it's an item that drops from monsters. Collect it and exchange it for dshop grade items like dshop buffs, pickup pet, mount, stat resets or 100% exp amulet.
You also need them to get certain skills and items.
Custom dungeons
This is a future update but beta-tests are going on and we're quite happy with the results. More info will be released later on.
