again: the MINIMUM requirements are: AT LEAST 512mb RAM. BUT you will encounter lots of SQL Timeouts.
768MB RAM is enough to run the server for some people, but you still encounter problems if you're addding jobs like anti-gm stuff or coinjobs.

to run a server completely smooth server you will need 1 GB RAM.
doesn'T matter if there are 5 people playing or if there are 200 people playing.

cpu? doesn'T mater. it must be at least 200mhz. not more, not less.
since there are no 200mhz cpus i reccomend a pentium III with about 500mhz....

graphic card? at least 512kb v-ram to render a picture of at elast 1024x768@16-bit color dept.
why? because this is a jerky server aplication. NO graphic rendering!

a server is NO gaming machine, and a server does NOT render graphics!

i just know it load up for 3.678 MB on memory, don,t know how can it hold up with only 512 mb on, maybe using virtual memory with on disk? because i have 24G memory on board? a little confusing here. nvm anyway.

or some idiotic GM spawnig mobs, but ok i get it now, still i dont think that it would be good to host a server on a 700 mhz cpu cuz i think its slow when it loads on my cpu (dual core 2.5 ghz) on this 700 mhz i would most likely grow old by the time it ends

well.. think that a high-cpu is better.waste money.
the problem is: you don't even accept what someone is telling you.
do you actually have any idea what a cpu does on the system?
i mean when playing a game for example.
what does cpu have to do with loading times?

: dekaron server files are NO GAME! there is NOTHING being rendered by graphic card or cpu! the only thing the cpu does is sending data to other peope around a certain player.the cpu calculates that.

my dekaron services had about 150mhz when i had 250 players online playing!
don't come with bull. take it as it is!
cpu cores are way to overpowered. no difference if your system has 2ghz or 20 ghz. the loading times wil be the same!

Thanks for replys but you say i haven't request a good server, but why when i test my dk server on my personal computer my cpu and my ram are at 100% ?

CPU : AMD 64x2 4200+ @2,6ghz
RAM : 2 GO

you can host a server with low RAM, but if u also wanna invite friends (more than 3... i mean like 20 [i know, some people dont even have 3 friends, but i just write an example]) u should have 1GB RAM
