[Q] BackUp (.bkf)

Should it be handy it i created a xp/2003 system where everything is installed and working so you dont need to do anything ?

windows has a function where you can make a "shadow copy" of you hdd
does it do any good if i create a, lets say XP version where everything is installed and working
including:

MSSQL + SP4
MySQL
Apache
DKserver
Register panel
Admin panel
....

anyone ?

Should be a good idea for UBER noobs ,then still questions gonna be asked. You to decide,i say no because the better people search and learn the more better pservers will be coming. But its positive u willing to do that.

You'd be putting yourself in the warez bracket with the full version of windows and MSSQL. Plus the windows would be disabled from authenticity checks during updates, unless it's the EDU version.

Besides, all these "one clicks" are nice but are not really helping anyone. I'm all for helping people and making things automated, but you'll never understand mud unless you get your fingers dirty.

actually, there are 80% of people in here, that just don't care about the creation of a server. they just wanna mess on their server.. making some changes like creating an uber-char and so on.

And you gotta love those tiny servers with no updates. 1 clicks was a great idea but i mean if someone wants to learn HOW to make a server they would be foolish to use it.It's common sense... you got a tut or you got something that does it for you... if you want to learn which would you choose?

P.s. silk's virtual looks better, not going to try any of them.

P.S. SQL 2k8 pwns, cant stand sql 2k
