Snow effect is data/map/light effect and xmas trees and snow is map files getting a skilled dev let him add skills by him self without any help or add new monster or a boss since he requires alot more if he has some special skills !

yea, since iam not a server developer i have no idea what they (server dev) should do

Unless the guy is going to actually be doing what your GMs do then there is no need to ever give him a GM character, and there definitely is never a reason to give someone a DEV/DEKARON character.

If the people dev'ing for your server aren't complete **** they could easily set themselves up a personal test server and hand themselves a DEV/DEKARON character to test whatever they need to "test" with one of those 2 tags.

Not telling you or anyone else how to run a server but... Just saying for those who aren't as smart and hand out DEV characters on a public server


P.S: Anyone who can't revert ardeca should just stay as a normal player.

@ Guy talking about retextures and custom sets:
- Anyone who has a .dds compatible program and two hands can retexture the entire game, it doesn't mean it would look good but still. Doing both doesn't open any doors really.

- You can't create your own gear, unless you figured out the way to save 3D models with the encoding that dekaron exes can read that is... So any "custom" set is just a revamp of an old one? And if you say not to just revamp an old one but then say use an old one as a base, doesn't that statement contradict itself?

Have you ever tried or looked at doing it?
I've got my own custom built sets on my lan server. Made them completely from scratch.
If you have the right program, you can open the ones dekaron uses, and it can tell you exactly which format (in detail) they are. So it is easy to save yours to that exact type.....

No I'm not going to post proof, No I don't care if you think I'm lieing. That is not my issue. I'm just stating it is possible.

By the way, use it as a base. aka, take that set, and change it into a completely new look (not just color).

Because I live in Australia and aus net sucks ***. And I can't afford to be paying for a host.

Besides, it isn't hard to make your own sets, anyone can do it.
Just takes some time and effort.

People have their own reasons for keeping their work to themselves.
They done the hard work to have it, so why not be the ones to enjoy it.
I would have a public server, or work for a server, but I have more important stuff I have to worry about first, and I wouldn't be happy with myself if I were to work for, or run a server that I couldn't put enough time into, even tho that's what most servers are like, I'm a perfectionist so I won't allow my self to do it.
