Don't triple posts.... From what I see actualy from your picture your using the wrong sql version. Use search button and read correctly the tutorials or give up lol

Tip: Use microsoft sql server 2000 developper edition+sp4 patch+security fix+While setting up mssql choose both authentification login form (windows+SA)

i'm not sure about this but mssql should work for microsoft 2k but like thats not what we're talking bout. its not the os that we want as 2k but the sql server. i hope u realise otherwise but to create a username and password, u need to first login to the sql with the sql server password that u no as 'sa' and then go to security and then go into logins. then u right click the empty space that just popped up with all the current users on it and then there should be a command saying create a new login. the rest is self explanatory.
