Have Pserver Question.

Hey folks ! I've created my own dekaron pserver and i want my friend to play on it, i've created an account for him, but when he tries to login into the game he get cannot connect to the server.
Some facts: I have the server open when he tries to login, and it runs on my IP.. Not hamachi. In his channellist and loginlist he has my ip. (He has exactly the same share as i do)

So.. Does anyone know why he can't connect? Does it have to run on Hamachi or anything else?

EDIT: Now i have another problem DekaronServer keeps crashing all the time when i start it, it pops up for about 3-5 secs and then closes.

Any tips?

dk-server crash= look in your dbmon..it should show you an error so the server cannot start correctly...that might be the problem why you cannot connect to your server...other probs could be:

1. firewall
2. open ports(?)
3. your server+client are running on same pc?

iam quite unexperienced in hosting a server without hamachi..but maybe i helped you abit.

Well.. I could connect to the server before, but now today my DekaronServer start ******* up so i can't load the server.

1. Works fine
2. Fine
3. When i can login i have on same comp, but my friend is on another comp with just client and he can't login, but maybe i shall try with hamachi..
