Common issue can't connect to server.

Oke i can launch my game but can't connect to my server.
i've done everything like the video. but still it's not working don't know what i'am doing wrong.

it could be the port 1433. but when i checked it with server network utility i can see its enabled. so thats properbly not the issue.

and another thing a friend of mine is also trying to connect with my dekaron. when i start everything up i can see the server i named it uranu but when my friend start it up he just get the hfakshfk stuff . that he cant read the server.

so what ip does he have to put in de data.pack en witch one in the p-serverconnector. [ just asking to see if i got it right ]

so is there another way to portfoward port 1433.

i tryed it with the router itself looking for my standaardgateway ip. and typing it in internet explorer and the put the pass en name in and then i was in my router changed the port 1433 to portforward.

don't know if your suposed to be doing that hehe !

and also when i put in sessionserver it fails the first time and then when i close and open it again it doesn't fail could i be that this is the problem that i fails the first time ?

Im not having that problem because I havn't got to that stage yet... im still wondering why when i open WebMan.exe it doesn't do anything, posted 3 times about it but no one has answered... might have to make a thread -,-

I'd make a thread. But even that can go un-answered. if anything, drop silkbotter a pm, he should be able to help you.

you have to leave webman thingy *** it iss. it will only load futher if you succesfully open you dekaron. otherwise it won't i think because that what happend with me.

so i geuss you making amistake somewhere else

i had this problem n guess what, i've solved it..

all you need is to open data.pak with winhex and press ctrl + F

write in IP,PORT

when program finds such change all ip adresses you find. when you change them press F3 to find next.. when you change all ip adresses you ll be able 2 login to ur own pserver.. winhex gotta be in inplace mode.. you can assign this by pressing F6 in winhex..

I done it now, you have to start up all your servers, dbmon, cast, logic etc...

And then open P-Server-Connector.exe and then WebMan.exe should respond, if it doesn't you have probably done the IP's wrong, this mistake could be common as people wouldn't think of doing it. Hope it helps!

when i ctrl+F: IP,PORT i find alot of IP's behind the IP,PORT like 12 but some are longer and some are shorter so i get in trouble with the , that has to be between he last number and the Port . so do i only need to change the first or all and what IP should i put in there, LAN-IP or Hamachi IP?

Well I got the localserver running just fine. But i want to let some friends connect and play on it with me. Is there anyway other then vpn that will allow them to connect to me?

Well from my isp port 80 is blocked.I know I can change the port in webman from 80 to something else but do I need to change anything in datapak or launcher.

In that folder change your Update.ini's IP and Port to what you're going to use for your WebMan

does anyone know how to get the minilauncher working? i tried to open it woith winhex and searched ip's, ports and list.txt...but no results...anyone can help me how to get it work? thaks in advance

My port 80 on my local computer is blocked by my isp.

If I changed the port in webman to lets say port 556 so my isp cant block it what do i need to change in the p connector or datapak so my friends can connect.
I appreciate any help.

Dont use the minilauncher us the p-server connector open that in winhex or ultraedit 32 and search for list.txt the 2nd and 3nd result will be a ip change that and save it.
Make sure your webman is running as well.

I would like to do the same the pconnector is buggy
