Issue with my private server

ok so i have read and re read tuts and i beleive i have done everything correct. the server boots up great no errors or anything only problem is when i goto sign in, it tells me incorrect password... i have changed all the ips and **** like that...

any advice?

could be a long shot, but maybe, u are using an incorrect password . . . .


how did u make ur account?
reg page?
insert into DB manually?

inserted manually... also tried through sql inject... i know the pass is correct, i can pull up the database and SEE the password and i know im typing it correct lol

in USER_PROFILE you must use the MD5 hash of the password, not the password itself.

yeah, a MD5 hash of the pass in USER_PROFILE and a normal pass in Tbl_user

i have no infomation about md5 please fill me in about that and how do something... if in my Tbl_users i had testing as the pass how would i convert that to MD5 hash in the USER_PROFILE?

Well, use a MD5 hasher?

yeah, no problem, but you can press thanks instead of writing "thanks", cuz thats considered kind of like spam... And I get no use out of it :/
