VMware Problem
Hello uhm today I was doing the dbmon thing it was almost 90% done when suddenly a message appears saying [Warning]flash overflow ... unlink all program pointer I think this is a ram problem I dunno I have a DDR2 2048 MB which is 2GB Ram ... Dual cores and enough harddisk.... but what I'm trying to know why isn't it working .. like I've been doing this **** since morning then this comes up and ruin the whole thing.. I think not I just need some help with my problem please reply as fast as possible here or add me on skype : Ryan Adiga.

So I'm totally screwed? Or is there a solution... I've seen people saying that 2GB ram is enough for VMware... And its running fast here no problems at all.... Maybe I can take the server files with a flash usb to a friend PC edit it there and take it back is that possible or is there any solution? Thanks

i get that warning all the time, and does not affect the server in anyway, so if ur server isnt starting up properly then its something else, maybe take a closer look at what happens at start up, becus thats not the problem

Mine stops at the warning it doesn't continue to the last words will that work okay?

just try and log on to it, if you can then you will be fine, if not, then im not sure, if it is a ram issue, which i really dont believe it is, then maybe allow more ram for ur VM and see if that lets it start up so u can log on.

I allowed more than 1GB ram for the VMware but it still doesnt work...
Alright wait up... I have managed to make it work on the windows 7 but as shown in the video I have to run webman that thing doesnt work properly and ideas?

flash overflow isn't a problem
i got my server up even with 512 ram
a normal ram usage is from 1.5 Gb to 2.5Gb (if u have 4gb use 1.5)(if u have 8 or more give 4Gb to the machine ^^)

I have 2GB... I give the VM 512 or 1GB sometimes but the problem is the db stops at the sentence flash over flow which means I cant continue because I have to use webman....

U guys are making this fking harder then it has to be, dude adjust ur friggin ram if it doesnt work with 2 gb on ur vm make it 3 if 2 gb is the max u can go then give up.

flash overflow has nothing to do with the amount of ram he is using, he has something else wrong, he has to have more happening in his dbmon then the flash overflow, its prolly above that . . .

webman.exe isnt even needed I deleted it from my server im thinking your problem might be did you run the Q1 Q2 files

Of course it has to do with it cuz my ram is only 2GB ... the VMware eats around 1.2GB ram and my PC normally without anything takes around 600 MB I have asked for 2GB ram ddr2 price it cost's around 30$ or so... I hope it will work after I get the ram........ Oh and the dude that said webman doesn't do any thing... how come then why on the video he uses it and every thing work perfectly after that? Thanks

Heyho :)
Undzwar habe ich mir die .dll von eph0x gekauft. Ich komme mit den Cows in CF rein doch wenn ich starten will joinen die cows einfach zu langsam und fliegen raus :( obwohl ich vorher immer Map Precaching mache.
Desweiteren kann ich nur 3-4 cows machen und das farming hat bis jetzt nur mit maximal 2 cows geklappt die schnell genug joinen konnten.
Meine Hardware:
Prozessor: Intel Core i7 920
Arbeitsspeicher: 6GB ram
Betriebssystem: Win 7 Professionen 64-bit

Hallo Comm,
ich habe ein Problem mit Vmware ich habe es heute installiert betriebssystem drauf etc aber nun wenn ich es mit dem Wr3ngine starte um zu lvln kommt die meldung das es sich um eine virtuelle machine handelt und es nicht möglich ist es zu starten (wr3ngine)
Kann mir da vllt jemand helfen ?

unzwar ist es so ich habe win xp prof. istalliert und hat auch alles wunderbar geklapt das problem bei mir ist das wenn ich das win starte lagt das total obwoll ich ein phenom prozessor mit 4x2.33ghz 8GB DDR2 und ne Gforce 7600 gs mit 512mb habe
die optionen habe ich auf
Memory 3000mb
Hard disk 11GB
Prozessors 2
worann kann das liegen?? und brauch ich vieleicht noch andere Programme damit das stabill läuft nen tool für VMWare habe ich auch schon install das macht der ja...
