Well I give you a suggestion for the server , you can't make it action 9 100 % but you can make it more good then evolution one , the aspect of a pserver and NPCs shortcuts are very important , small things and cheap are very apreciable by dekaron players for example 50x potions in 1 slot , Candys and other buff s at NPC , more easy way to get crevice stones , 1x exp like evolution got and modified character stats bar like evolution have , you can lvl up from CQ reward in dekaron evolution bec of the ext stats bar , well SMALL things will atract alot of players because on a pserver you can't do to much , but most of pserver are saying they do and that's not true.

This are just a few examples from a bunch of ideas , also making pets and editing them like summoner ones won't atract players bec they want dekaron in a original way , that means tryng to make new skils , new maps and others like RB won't atract the players .

Evolution dont HAVE Marvic SYSTEM, dont have Expedidion working and many many more then Shutup and go to work.

Yes I know what you mean Recover , exe editing is possible if you are a good DEV but making new maps and etc won't attract players , all you can do is fix the bugs to make the client lock like original one , well for example I didn't see fully working transformation animation on any pserver , but a skilled DEV can make it work ... I try to say that exe editing should be based on original ideas from action 9 client and not abstract ideas like new skils , infernal dekaron maked new quests and skils that have nothing to do with original dekaron and they failed .... well some exe editing to make Transform works , 6 slots for potions and 12 for skils can be possible but you must give alot of your time to make such a huge project 3 DEVs I don't think it's enough but with 3 DEVs you can make a better server then evolution I think , also im sure you guys want get some money back for your work the item shop is also a important thing that will attract players making a item shop with +9 items ia very dumb idea , making a amulet with 50 % reinforce rate for item shop is a grate idea . Im spending mi time with this game since 2004 and I know what players need from a pserver .

as we said we just wanna fix gliches and move away from MSSQL 2000 and upgrade to 08 clean up the database etc if you go to the shaiya section you will see it all
we really just wanna make a perfect source open it to the public for abit make sure it doesnt crash if it overloads etc

There is no glitch to fix bec there are no glitched stuff it's just action 3 in a fight with action 9 files all you must do is to upgrade it (atm the only thing that is action 9 in pservers are skils only hope you guys can make more then that ). But GL moving from mssql 2000 hope you will find a way to do that .

Btw where will be the server host ? That's very important for Dekaron , lag is very annoying for Dekaron bec of gameplay style .

We will make a private server with the source once we are done. ATM I found us a sponser who will fund Operation Revolution, he will fund a VPS, operation revolution has begun!

VPS? Are You kidding me ? RPS/Dedicated Server is much better idea, on vps You will have many problems [read about vps, then You will understand it].

Let alone a VPS wont be able to handle a dekaron server. The server is just too honking huge.

A VPS handled ShaiyaUnity, at a peak at one point we have 50K players daliy...:/ Why would this server be different, I know a good German VPS that would work..

Well simply for the fact these server files are monstrous resource hogs. Trying to find a VPS with 8GB of ram and Xeon x2 or bigger is hard since your sharing your workload resources with other clients. A VPS would be a good server to run a development server off of. But probably cost just as much if not more then a dedicated one.
