I tried going to that page, but when it loaded, the page was completely white with nothing on it. I went to the Abyss icon and went to Show Console from there and the page that came out had the address;

http : //127.0.0.1:9999/ is the Configuration menu

but if u dont get the abyss start page on 127.0.0.1 then port 80 is blocked for sure!!!

maybe they dont make a folders to a abbyss folder...located at c:\program Files

i specify here...

htdocs folder\GameGuard folder\2moons folder\RealServer folder......then in the gameguard_1059 [its contains 17 files]copy and paste it to RealServer folder.....then be sure you have to put
127.0.0.1 nprotect.acclaimdownloads.com
in your hostfile then save..then goto properties click read-only then apply then ok...then you have to delete gameguard forder at your 2moons folder,,inside of the bin folder...

That's what I get on the start up page when my Abyss starts up. I opened up the 8000 port address and it says it's up and running. Just wondering but would that 8000 be the same as the 80 port or am I wrong? :x

it must run under port 80 NOT port 8000.

As i know you can't add ports to your hosts file so only port 80 will work (this is the default port for webpages).

you have to reach the abyss website on

i cant seem to make my bmr to work when i use this there's always this error on "????" when i click the left option it does some updating or somewhat, coz i can't understand. the right option exits.

After i delete the gameguard directory and then i try to run BMR it dl the files that i just deleted and i follow all the steps

yeah that is the right way. if it dl it very very fast it works because it dl it from your local webserver with the revision 1059 files.

check the tray icon from gameguard in the traylist on the right bottom.

I did all the steps you posted and the other ones steps too, still it tells me GameGuard Error: 380 "Failed to connect to the GameGuard update server. Try again later or see if there is a firewall."

Beacuse after it i change numbers in whinhex..
Cosmos it dont work for it ?

i think it depending on your client modification not on the gameguard downgrade!

setting the host file on system32 will auto load game guard everytime the webserver is started? That means 2moons will stop trying to download gameguard from acclaim? It keeps trying to download gameguard from acclaim but its blocked by my host file.
