rocastel, when i open WP i go to the scripts page, so there i slect the scripts and hit ok, and do everything else in the tutorials, but when i enter proxy and port, it says failed o connect every time, it is not my internet clearly as it works fine on system proxy settings? is this the proxy? port 8080? and i hav the proxy already

127.0.0.1 8080? that right??

you don't need to set in your browser proxy server!

Do not use browser proxy, not needed.

WP is injecting data in the plugin-container.exe, where the game data is running and can be modified. server-><-client connection.

1.WickedPatcher isn't slowing your game performance and it shouldn't slow down your internet connection too. If you have an weak DSL connection isn't WP's fault. better don't play darkorbit.

ITS SOMETHING ELSE" but when a handful of people say IT DOES and it is on THEIR COMPUTER and they are witnessing this and they ARE NOT ON DRUGS.. you kind of have to believe what they are saying.. maybe you and your 32-CORE PROCESSOR friends are not having this issue.. good for you.. but that does not mean others are not.. Well, WP isn't slowing down you gameplay. Maybe your computer is to old for this game. You need some RAM and video card memory.

I will not say "it lags" until I will have lags. You don't need even a simple dual core, you can run on P4 and 1 GB RAM too, you saw that printscreen, ~5 MB RAM is not so f much. But you must have more than ~1 MB/s real international speed because:
- ~100 kb/s needs the game client.
- ~ 50 kb/s needs WP.
- ~ then are other windows's processes which are using you internat band (so don't try to play when you have torrents oppened if you don't have a really good connection)

Have you ever think to change video quality in game too?!

But why the f am I trying to explain you, buy merkava (50 euros) if you don't like a free and better tool. Go eat BP's muffin' buddy.

And, so, what are we supposed to do, take our magical little tech wands and fix the problem? 32bit core processors have been around for god know how long. could be that you are trying to run too many things at once. too many things in the system tray, processes and other things. I only have a 128m video card, a 2.8 g processor and 2.5g ram. I don't have a problem. Maybe we are just trying to help you find ways to improve your 'puter's performance. Sorry if you feel we are "stepping on your toes" but guaranteed, a threat like that is not something to be taken lightly. I'm sure you are just running your mouth. 'Cause, believe me, you would never be able to accomplish what you are threatening to do. If you think you can do a better job, have at it. lmao. Typical attitude, instead of being grateful for something that OTHER people are taking their time to work on, you have to complain without doing anything to help improve the process. Maybe giving ideas for improvement with actual things to be implemented is the way you might want to handle things.

Lag? This is a term I don't even understand. There's a huge difference between datalag and ping time as opposed to flash "lag" the flash client can't handle it and if your computer isn't fast enough to handle it, I suggest moving your swap file to a separate drive. If you are using XP or Vista or any of the gui intensive programs, set your settings to classic view, turn off all non-essential programs. Please don't blame wp because your computer cannot handle the amount of multi-tasking that you as a user are demanding. Maybe you are asking too much of your computer.

P.S. I'm with Roscatel, this is probably a complete and total waste of time because this is obviously a Wicked Patcher problem. ROTFLMAO

Using WP my connection is Lagging. Closed WP and there won't be any lag anymore.
And yes, WP lags your connection (only in-game) but if you have a good aDSL line that won't be a problem.

My connection is weak so WP is kind of lagging me, until i Connect to a more powerful Wi-Fi hotspot.

And Roscatel, try WP in a weak aDSL connection, you will see what i mean.
