request for darkorbit private server tutorial

Hi I want to create a private server of darkorbit for fun and maybe to play with couple of friends, but the multiplayer is last goal. I need ships, npcs, maps, resources files etc and a tutorial step by step how to do it.

I used

but it's very limited.
there was a video of how to do it

But... there are almost nothing here
4 maps, 4 aliens. lf3 lasers...
I made little bit differences like to increase ammounts of damage, shielding, drone formations functions, but it's near the starting.
I also tested how long can hold attack of 500 boss kristallons, before my graphics chip gives up (that was just for fun)

I have many ideas to do, but I miss the know how of creating, adding and modifying the things.
Can someone give some help?

Files are getting old and if you want something updated you either have to do it yourself from scratch or give up

There are newer versions of this project in the same thread you used. If you want to edit the client itself, all you need is a standard text editor and a Flash decompiler—you can find both for free online. You will need to work with:

PHP
SQL
HTML
ActionScript
XML

These languages ​​are relatively simple, you can ask ChatGPT or any other AI for help.
The emulator is written in C#, it is easy to understand, but if you lack programming experience, a game server isn't the first project I would recommend—try watching some tutorials first.

that's the problem.
there are not any public tutorials but this one that i quoted already. there is 1 more

but it is doing exactly the same.
I try run another cms just like this I face error on loading screen timeless.

I try run unknown universe -

i do some commands on cmd (i installed docker desktop, but when i don't know how to use it, it is probably so easy, but noone wants to show; when i try to load sql file on mysql xampp i face file too long.

I wasn't referring to tutorials on how to create a server. I meant how to program in C#.


The video you showed should work fine with this version, but I recommend using a different program for the database, use XAMPP only for the Apache server.
