I’ve just finished working on the UI windows, and I’ve put together a short video to show you the progress. I would really appreciate your feedback on how it looks!
I spent a huge amount of time fixing all the issues the windows had. To make the experience as authentic as possible, I integrated the original images from the SWF files so they look nearly identical to the original game.
In addition to the UI polish, I’ve implemented several core gameplay features:
NPC Aggression: NPCs now react and attack as intended.
Dynamic Rewards: Honor and Experience gains are now calculated based on the specific ship type.
Honor System: Killing an ally will result in an Honor point penalty, unless your clans are at war.
Alliance Penalty: If you kill a member of an alliance, the Honor loss is multiplied by 2.
For those asking if I will redesign the website to look exactly like DarkOrbit: the answer is no. It would be too time-consuming, but I’ve designed the site so that any DarkOrbit player will feel right at home and understand the layout immediately.
