Hello everyone,

I am releasing version 0.3 of the Space Aces Companion, an unofficial desktop application designed to provide fast access to information, calculators and helpful tools for Space Aces players.
This is an early but stable public version.


What is Space Aces Companion?

A modern, user-friendly desktop tool built with Python and PySide6.
It includes several modules such as:

• Wiki (work in progress)
• Damage Calculator (ship lasers, drone lasers, ammo, rockets, formations, skills)
• NPC Farming Guide Uri/min, calculations and efficiency ranking based on your loadout)
• Quest Helper (work in progress)
• Settings (languages, MOD mode, RGB UI)

The app is designed to be clean, simple and efficient.


What’s in version 0.3?

• Fully working standalone .exe
• Stable NPC loading via npcs.json
• Complete navigation & UI structure
• Improved Damage Calculator
– Ship lasers and drone lasers separated
– Mixed setups supported
• Working NPC Farming Guide
– Uri/hour calculations
– Time-to-kill estimates
– NPC efficiency comparison
• Overall stability improvements

This version is fully functional for everyday gameplay support.

Is this safe?

Yes.
The tool does not interact with the game client or memory in any way.
It is an external helper application with calculators and static data.

This is a non-commercial fan project and not affiliated with the official Space Aces developers.

Space Aces Companion – v0.5 Released

Version 0.5 introduces several important improvements and the first version of the new Quest Helper module.

What’s new in v0.5

• Damage Calculator fixes
Multiple calculation issues have been corrected, including proper handling of damage boosters and NPC-based damage values. (still a bit buggy)

• New Drone Formation: Bat
The Bat formation (+10% damage) has been added and now correctly affects all relevant damage calculations.

• New Quest Helper module
A brand-new Quest Helper is now available.
The first set of starter missions has been added, and more quests will be included over time.
It supports:
– Full quest list
– Objectives and reward display
– Personal bonus calculation (skill tree, boosters, modules, clan bonuses)

• Early version of the dmg calculator configurator added (not working rn)
• New Laser (LW-MK2) added
• Renamed the vanilla laser
• Added the damage spread to the calculations to give better DPS output
