Hi everyone,
hopefuly not breaking any rules, now some of you might remember the p-server Galactic Uprising, we had some cool stuff, but unfortunately ended the dev cycle early on as there were more important issues at hand (real life stuff). Since then i never really had any time to go back and perhaps bring it online once again.
The question is if there is even any point in bringing it back? Is there still any interest in p-servers? Or would it just be a waste of time? (I've been out of the "DO loop" for too long)
Now obviously, since flash is dead, the client would run on JavaScript, probably with all the main page stuff handled in the client as well (like hangar, skylab etc) (Aand the server would be rebranded, but that is really OT).
TL;DR: Is bringing a p-server back in html5 pointless or not?
