Getting double the amount of Seprom

I remarked that there is still a Seprom Bug present that can be exploited to get 2x times amount of Seprom, Promerium etc. which you can send from your skylab to your ship. I will explain it here and I am NOT going to do a video on how to do it. So don't ask for that. You probably need a fast internet connection. At least it doesn't work for me if it is too slow.


Procedure:

1. Clear your browser history, site settings and your cache on Chrome.

2. go to Darkorbit and login into your account and press start (due to the fact that you deleted your site settings before, it should not start - there should be something like: "Please download or activate Flash")

3. activate flash on Chrome and reload the page that logs in into the game (the window which opened after pressing start)

4. after pressing reload, don't spend time on the loading page. switch immediately the tab and change your hangar to another ship.

5. After switching the hangar now you press on skylab. Press on skylab 4-6 times really quick (don't press on it too often because it will log you off and then you will end up not getting 2x the amount of ressources). If you did it correct, you will be on the skylab screen but no pop up have appeared that you sent ressources to your ship (even though you did).

6. Now after landing on the skylab screen and without getting the pop up, you need to again change your hangar (doesn't matter which one).

7. Now after changing hangar, change the tab and your game will almost be loaded - if you now look at your ressources you will have double the amount of seprom.




I sent 4500 Sep and 7000 to Citadel and got 9000 Sep and 14000 Prom.

Today is the day, that I will stop playing forever. So I don't care if you are not able to reproduce the bug that I stumbled upon. Just wanted to drop the knowledge here - if you know how to use it - good for you )

If it does not work for you, you either are doing something wrong or your internet connection is too slow so that at step 5 you will get the pop up at skylab.

Lmao, that's wicked for a game that's been out for so long. There' s just so much that can go wrong when you're using Flash, and this game is still Flash based! Sometimes I really wonder what the fuck is wrong with those money-hungry, capitalism-driven German* cavemen that run this company and what made them make this game into an online bot/exploit/bug-fiesta which it is right now.

I mean just take a look at their career page.



Check this out, BP currently has FIFTEEN (15) openings across EIGHT (8) departments of which SIX (6) are in the Department of Engineering. What does that tell you?

I honestly and truly believe that every programmer and everyone who worked in the Department of Engineering at BP who wanted to make the game a better and user-frendlier experience got fired on the spot because their idea of improving the game (the stuff the community has been telling them to do for YEARS) was not a good business move.

Either that or every single one of them realised what a huge waste of time Flash games and careers in Flash games are. Let's face the reality of the future, in less than a year Chrome will stop supporting Flash, after Chrome other browser will stop supporting Flash (there will be a couple that still support it, but they will not be mainstream web browsers), John McAfee will die, and so will online games.

They had a chance, YEARS AGO, to make a SINGLE client for ALL of their games, and improve upon that, but NO!, they stayed with the same business model because there were still some people buying box-doublers, premium, or even some newcomers that bought a metric fuckton of Uri because their daddies are rich. What baffles me is that those same people who give us the pleasure of ABUSING this ONCE BEAUTIFUL game are STILL running this company. Even more mind-blowing is the fact that it's Germans* behind this. You know how people say German* engineering is the best? Think again. If you forgot by now, take another look at BP's career page. What does that tell you? (-:

Fuck this game, I'm abusing it until John McAfee dies or until I get bored of abusing it, which is pretty soon, because even when abusing and using bots, it still takes months to reach UFE level and to go on a BASIC hunt. I spent 2 hours today on GE1 looking for someone to kill in my FE Goli (8 iris, full lf3 bo2 g7900), but to no avail. Everyone either does 180k damage per hit or didn't finish the tutorial yet, there's no in-between. Also the maps seem kinda empty these days...

Thanks for the bug report though, it'll come in handy for achieving UFE quicker (trust me there's people who are still willing to buy botted DO accounts lmao).

*I am not bashing on Germans or Germany as a country, I am only using the hard truth which we all can see and am comparing shitty Germans (humans who happen to live in Germany) to normal Germans (also humans who happen to live in Germany). There's no reason to be mad, I didn't call you stupid, I just said your next door neighbour is pretty fucking retarded, that's all (-:

Your reply is on point. It is a ****** game with ****** players (who btw. also did mistakes by abusing it to the fullest extent through bots and bugs).

I started this game like literally 10 years ago and played it irregularly. Now I am in my mid twenties and I see nobody playing it anymore. Just bots or UFE with whom you can't compete at all. There is too much to say but you already mentioned the most important aspects.

Have fun if you can still enjoy it.

And btw: I am from Austria so I won't be offended by your words

heyah first off, superb bug. And you better to pull out from the game indeed. But there is some uncertanties in the method:

1) Should our sources be in transit or do they have to be transferred already during the exploit ?
2) Must the whole steps be done before the playing screen got initialized ?

From what I can read it needs to be sent aka when you press skylab it will say that the resources are delivered, but with this bug they will instead be delivered twice... Probably multiplied by the 2nd hangar ship.

You can do this without having to delete your cache. Just immediately refresh the page after opening it. Just tested it and it works.

Well you guys can just try to modify the steps in between. Maybe there is a faster way without doing all the steps.

As the user above said: you may not need to delete cache.

Regardies...

1) the transfer should be already done (speaking of time) but you have not clicked skylab yet. If you would just simply click skylab you would get the pop up saying that your ressources have been transfered to the ship.

2) I didn't check if it works when your game has already loaded. You may need to try yourself. In the last step if I change to the "start" screen it loads the last bit of the game.
