GPU and RAM has bigger effectiveness on DarkOrbit than the processor have. However, you still need a some kind of processor that wants to run Google Chrome or any browser. I have right now on my laptop Intel i3-6100U (2.3GHz dual core), 6GB DDR4 and Intel HD Graphics, runs at 40 FPS mainly.
On my gaming computer, I have i5-4460 and GeForce GTX 750Ti, 8GB DDR3, runs at 50 FPS mainly.
To be fair, on my gaming computer it's average of 50 FPS, but on laptop it's 30 as on the 40 it also drops sometimes to 20-30. On 3D mode I haven't seen any effectiveness. Maybe it has no effect on low end computers, I don't know, but for me it has no effect.
At the end of this I can only state the problem of FPS issues is the ****** browsergame a.k.a Flashcrap (which I think is coded with ActionScript if not wrong?), not your computer.
