Cubikon Kill = 10 rank points
Protegit Kill = 3 rank points
(60 rank points for 20 protegits)
= 116 rank points per Cubikon

Is this really the best way of earning rank points?

You can use boosters and Pilotbio, then you get about 8000 honor, making it +40
Also, protegits give exp and honor too.

And yes, besides gates it's the best way

Depends on that how long you shoot it. Gates are better

If I take 45 per day for the next two weeks I'll get 100,000 rank points...

Yes. If you want to go up in ranking try shooting 100 or 200 a day

Hades gate is best way for rank, 10k rank in ~15 mins.

The gates are better but who don't have gates opened can go to shoot cubikon's - which is more handy

protegit gives 3/2 + 32 honor ==> 1.8 points x20??? 36
cubi = 10/2 ===> 5
is less than 90 rp for a cube

NPC shot points get divided by 2, so its actually:

512,000 EP / 100,000 = 5.12 rank points
4,096 Honor / 100 = 40.9 rank points
Cubikon Kill = 5 rank points

= 51 rankpoints without protegits, ~80 if you use kami.
