All old packet bots have vanished, ibot, kBot, PBDO Bot, BoxyBot... There are lot of pixel-bots going around, and background pixel bot. Right now v5dev has released their new packet bot, looks to be a great bot. I have not tested it myself, but it has been getting really good feedback. I have been using golem bot, there are a few bugs but still works good.
For avoiding bans, its just as people recommended before, no one really listened. Don't bot 24/7, theses days its a really high chance of getting banned. If you box bot, uri per hour will decrease longer you bot, so take breaks in between.

NanoBot PB - reason: Discontinued, dev working on NanoBot BG instead
AutoBot BG v3 - reason: Discontinued, dev working on PacketBot instead (also it wasnt free)
BlackDarkorbitBot BG
Outdated but working:
CandyBot and FsBot Lion + FsBot are not updated but still working but FsBot Lion do not use random timings I think FsBot too so is not safe for sure, so its up to you what you gonna do if you keep it or remove.
BonzoBot PB also outdated but still working also is safe, dev will update it when he got time so its not like CandyBot or FsBot Lion where the devs left the project.
Rest of bots = keep cause they are updated and are working smoothly.

Almost Infinite - reason: Outdated, not working
Auto Kami - reason: Outdated, not working
Pixzel - reason: Outdated, not working for me
SpaceZ - reason: Outdated, not working for me
DarkOrbit Answer Bot - this one works but is 1. Outdated 2. More less useless cause no news only things you can find on wikipedia...
Rest of tools = keep cause they are updated and working smoothly
Last thing: Rename KappaBot on ThunderBot because the devs changed the name, also the KappaBot thread is closed already.
I hope ya will really edit the first post in the topic so it can be fresh without not working stuff.
Edit: If you dont want to delete it atleast separate the outdated and updated bots/tools so it can be organized and look good even for some newcomer on the forum.

autobot- didnt know about that, thought it still worked
nanobot pb - still works, i still use it
blackground - no idea
fsbot- still works but not safe
candyboy - still seems safe, use this aswell
almost - yea i figured, didnt see any update
auto kami - works sometimes

No problem, btw tested the BlackDarkOrbitBot today and wasnt working for me, I think its because they changed login into DarkOrbit and the bot is outdated so it can not login... The update came 2 days ago btw. I think the BlackBot wont work.
