Hi, since I play Darkorbit I find that the game doesn't include enough "fun" things or events. By "fun" events I mean like when Darkorbit changed the drones to.sheeps on the 1st April, and it's the only one I saw in the original game.
I think you should make events of this type, but not only events on the spacemap.
I mean that one of the things that make a website intersting is personalisation. You can see this on epvp where almost everyone has a custom user page, with custom fonts, custom backgroud, etc...
You should add this kind of possibilities to your website
I think that to make a living server you need to have a lot of events, even if they aren't absolutely usefull, even if they don't hive any high rewards : they make people want to come to the server to check the new events, play on them for fun and then say "Yeah, i have a lot of fun on this server, i'll speak about it to my friends".
I agree that this kind of stuff can come later than the server, but you should think about creating an "events team" who'll think about (maybe) useless but (very) funny things

This is a really good idea! Because the small things are these who will give you the feelings "This server is my new home!" If you know what I mean.
If an event team is needed... hmh, I dunno, I'd say no. Wouldn't it be enough when an admin do this? Perhaps an event like this is every month, so we don't need an event team or?

Currently the game is in the Alpha status (Correct me If I'm wrong). So we won't be able to play on the server now. We have to wait.

Currently HSA is closing June 6, 2014, Poll is closing June 7, so there will properly go about one week before beta release from june 7.

And yes it ain't public currently, we have tons of work and with me, would it be 5 people working on the project.

The thing we are waiting on currently is that our server hardware is getting installed in our collocation somewhere underground.

And we are also working on a cinematic trailer.

and one shot 1 mmo/eic/vru per second gonna be epic !

a struner with 2 protegits as bodyguard ... , and other things like this =P
