Cute Poison - Private Server Bot

Hello ePvP,

it's been a while since I last posted something here, so here we go.
A few days ago I remembered how our beloved Uridium Wars got closed by Bigpoint because of the botters on that server, and how everyone has been opening private servers since then.

Personally I have only seen one server that has some real chances of getting anywhere near the 2010 version of DO, I'm talking about Snowy's server. Most servers (most of them, not really all) are based on the Azure or Icon8 projects (which suck pretty bad), and with help from experienced coders around, everyone now can have a private server. The number of requests I get on Skype every week is just creepy, I can't tell if they are asking for help or if they are pedophiles

Alright, so let's get to the point: what's the second worst thing that happened to DO? Wait for it... Bots! They have the power to destroy a game just by pressing the start button, which is pretty amazing.

Since a good server has good developers and good developers can catch bots with a little determination, the only way to destroy horrible servers is creating bots that kill ships.

I have already started coding a bot that will be able to run on most servers, which means that in about 2 weeks we will have already got rid of some servers.

During the first days of this bot, it will have no licensing system, but I plan on adding that in the future

This bot will:

• Kill ships
• Use the ammo you choose
• Optionally, use RSB and SAB
• Reconnect if killed
• Have a good "brain", will know when to run or continue fighting
• Steal kills
• Collect boxes and kill NPC's (if the server has them)
• Have a wide variety of languages for different people of different nationalities -> Translators needed

It will still work. Because the packets are everytime the same. Only the IP is different

I don't see the point of using bots on private server except for pushing rank.
Then you speak like every server which is running sucks as hell, of course except snowy's server. I don't use icon8 project, or azure, and my server is running well. I guess, my server is the one being the most online (uptime average of 24h), and I don't have a lots of bug.

So please, stop saying every server is a ****, except snowy's server.

Ok we can work for bann your bot or just use the admin anti bot with acp ...

But Why we create private server if we fight with your project ??

My project is create server with normal play ( no pvp server ) just normal with AI , Shop with credit , equipment , Pilot competence , Clan ...

The work for create private server is awful !

Why Bot if the server is free ?

We waited for years about private servers...
The first time someone released a semi-private server was awesome (OfflineDO by deHackerzOwn)

After there was xokixoki with ICON8 Project, coming from nowhere but was a "revolution"

Then come Azure, a good alternative to ICON8 Project

After all these things, I thought developers would work together by releasing some source code or just make an official epvp server but instead of this we have :

- People like you destroying our only way to play the good old DarkOrbit
- No help between developpers, designers etc...
- A "war" between private servers developpers

This is the reason why there is no really good servers right now, because instead of 'all developpers vs bigpoint' we have '1v1v1v1vPrivateServerBOTSv1v1v1v1v1vBigpoint'

Also, the only reason you do a bot for private servers it's the fact you aren't skilled enough to make a safe bot for the real DarkOrbit.
